反送中占領 示威人士：目標阻止逃犯條例二讀
香港立法會原訂今天上午二讀討論逃犯條例修訂草案，但因逾萬民眾抗議而延後。有示威人士在現場宣布，占領行動預計持續到傍晚5時，目標是讓立法會不能恢復二讀逃犯條例。
立法會原定上午11時開會二讀討論逃犯條例修訂草案，但據香港電台等港媒報導，立法會主席梁君彥指示延後舉行，稍晚再通知議員，但不確定今天可否開會。
稍早時，有示威人士在占領現場台上宣布，希望大家待到下午5時，讓立法會今天不能開會討論逃犯條例。
為抗議港府著手修訂逃犯條例草案，香港9日爆發定調「反送中」的大遊行，主辦單位民間人權陣線表示有103萬人上街；今天一早又有逾萬人包圍立法會並占領主要幹道，另有眾多港民參與罷課、罷市、罷工活動，抗議逃犯條例草案進行二讀。
香港明報稍早暢銷商品首選前報導，多名民主派立法會議員要求與梁君彥會面，希望取消今天的大會，也有議員要求政府撤回或擱置修例。
民主黨議員林卓廷表示，金鐘一帶有非常多群眾抗議，不應該強行召開會議，否則會讓情況火上加油、一發不可收拾，希望梁君彥懸崖勒馬。（中央社）
英國募兵反向操作 電玩成癮自拍魔人來者不拒
英國國防部為提振募兵成效，近日推出一系列饒有創意的海報，目標鎖定自戀，且網路和自拍成癮的千禧（2000）世代，或玻璃心不堪一擊的所謂「雪花」（snowflakes）世代。
海報甚至讚許電玩狂熱份子和課堂搞笑王「帶勁兒」、「熱血」。
英國國防部在設計上，引用第一次世界大戰期間知名的吉欽納募兵（Lord Kitchener Wants You）海報。在這一系列經典海報中，時任英國陸軍大臣的吉欽納勛爵以食指指向觀者，下方則書「WANTS YOU」（就要你）兩字。此設計後來獲多國引用。
針對為何以看似不可靠的千禧和雪花世代為重點募兵對象，協助募兵的魏德（Ben Wilde）上校告訴國防部經營的「軍人」（Soldier）雜誌，此世代所具備的技能「可滿足變動戰場的行動需求」。
他說：「我們這一輩人多缺乏年輕世代的技術力。」
除了海報，英國國防部還推出創意募兵影片。
在其中一支影片中，一位父親對兒子熬夜打電玩感到痛心。此時畫外音淡定表示：「這就是持久力。別小看它的重要性。」
在另一支影片中，一位超市女性員工遭同事取笑，被貼標籤是「遲緩千禧人」，但英國陸軍卻對她的完美主義按讚支持。
澳洲廣播公司新聞網（ABC news）報導，英國國防部這番兼具反向操作創意與正能量的用心良苦卻不是每個人都買單。
在社群媒體上，就有網友質疑，把千禧世代當重點募兵對象似乎犯了戰略上的錯誤：沉迷於電玩、手機的雪花們怎會想從軍呢？
魏德上校倒不在意這類批評。他表示，國防部的新措施已成功提高從軍詢問度，且有興趣從軍者的背景也較往昔多元。
魏德上校指出，招募困難的問題不僅存在於軍隊，也可見於更廣泛的公共部門。傳統的招募渠道已不見得可行，招募單位必須面對社會各階層和族群。
報導指出，英國陸軍去年12月募兵未能達標，因為價值4億9500萬英鎊（約8億9000萬美元）的線上招募系統出了問題。
